GBIC Transceiver

The GBIC Transceiver (GBIC Module) is a standard for transceivers, generally used with Ethernet and fiber channel. The appeal of the GBIC Transceiver standard in networking device, as opposed to fixed physical interface configurations, is its flexibility. The SFP Module will replace GBIC Module to become the main stream; it is the trend of the development of optical module.
